This toolkit is the first of three toolkits intended to support country teams in adaptation and implementation of the revised World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations in the four technical areas: 1) ARV drugs for treatment of pregnant women living with HIV and prevention of HIV infection in infants, 2) infant and young child feeding in the context of HIV, 3) antiretroviral therapy for HIV infection in infants and children, and 4) antiretroviral therapy for HIV infection in adults and adolescents. It is organized into five steps needed to facilitate understanding and implementation of the new guidelines.
