This toolkit is a collection of assessment tools and checklists that describe the key considerations to be taken into account when expanding ART for pregnant women (called option B/B-plus by the WHO). The toolkit provides a roadmap to support the planning and implementation of Option B/B-plus, and to help countries scale up more effective interventions and programs. There are 7 key sections: 1) considerations for country programs, 2) readiness checklist, 3) costing tool, 4) human resources for health tool, 5) supply chain management tool, 6) monitoring and evaluation considerations, and 7) tools on community engagement.
