A Qualitative Review of Psychosocial Support Interventions for Young People Living with HIV

In the past 5 years, access to pediatric ART has increased the number of adolescents living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This document summarizes research on organizations that conduct psychosocial interventions for young people. They report that there are many organizations working to ensure that adolescents and children living with HIV maintain good health including ARV adherence andHIV prevention as well as independence and social integration. In addition to summarizing findings from the research project, the report gives key recommendations for organizations working with young people infected with HIV.
