The aim of these guidelines is to provide clear and straightforward treatment recommendations for malaria that can be applied effectively in most settings. They include specific population groups such as infants, pregnant women, and travellers; malaria caused by different malaria species, including P.falciparum, P.vivax and others; different types of clinical malaria such as uncomplicated and severe malaria; as well as treatment in different health care settings in areas where facilities are limited.
