English: PDF [835 KB]

This report highlights significant gaps in how communities and governments in the Asia Pacific region are addressing the needs of adolescents (ages 10-19) who are living with HIV. The report captures the experiences of perinatally-infected adolescents as they disclose their status, deal with life-long antiretroviral treatment, move from pediatric to adult health care services and navigate sexuality and relationships. It also includes the perspectives of adolescents who acquired HIV through unprotected sex and drug use.
