Summary

This study looked at clinical and parasitologic response at day 42 in malaria-infected children between 6 months to 5 years in Papua New Guinea. The study was conducted between 2005 and 2007, and was an open-label, randomized, parallel-group study of conventional chloroquine-sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine and artesunate-sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine, dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine, and artemether-lumefantrine.
