Summary
This online continuing medical education (CME) activity introduces cases related to the effect of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection on HIV-infected women. The course discusses the epidemiology of HPV among HIV-infected women, gives an overview of routine anogenital cancer screening among HIV-infected women, examines the effect of combination antiretroviral therapy on HPV-related anogenital diseases in HIV-infected women and describes indicatiosn for vaccinating against HPV infection and the limitations of the vaccines in HIV-infected women.
